Welcome Home Elder Griffith!

My brother, Tim, has been serving a mission in Tucson, Arizona for the last two years. He has served his mission faithfully and even got the opportunity to be the Assistant to the Mission President for the last seven months. Well, last Wednesday was his homecoming and we were able to go to Idaho Falls to see him arrive home.

Before he came home, we put the kids in their painting attire so that they could help make a "welcome home" poster for Tim.


The poster turned out really cute and colorful.


Here is Sadie right before heading to the airport. She was so excited to finally meet her Uncle Tim. (She fell off the treadmill a week before, so she had a nasty scab right above her lip. I was definitely not thrilled to have her meet Tim like that, but oh well!)

When we were finally able to see Tim coming down the escalator, the boys started jumping with excitement and Tim was smiling from ear to ear. It was definitely a moment that I will never forget.

That night, Jarom went back to Logan to go back to work, and I decided to stay until Saturday so that the kids and I could spend some time with Tim. On Friday, we went to Bear World.

Yesterday, my Mom took us back to Logan and we were able to show Tim around the city. They weren't able to stay very long as Tim had to report to church today at 7 am.

This past week was definitely full of anticipation and excitement. We are so happy that Tim is home and we are looking forward to spending more time with him. He goes back to BYU in the fall, so we are hoping to be able to join him for some football games down in Provo. Welcome Home Tim!
