Christmas Baking

Like most people, I have fallen behind in my blogging this month due to the holiday craziness. I hope to be caught up by the end of the week. In today's post, I wanted to share some of the Christmas baking that the kids and I have been up to this month. First of all, we decided to bake a Christmas present cake with my mom. It turned out really cute and the boys had fun putting the candy on top of it.




About a week later, we attempted to make a wreath cake. It was my first time piping the frosting, and surprisingly, I think it turned out pretty cute.



Finally, we decided to make candy cane bread. I am personally not a big fan of candy cane bread, but it has been such a tradition in my family over the years that I feel that Christmas would not be the same without it. The boys helped kneading the bread and putting the cherries on top.
