Fall Festivities

Wow... we have been so busy for the last couple of months that I have fallen WAY behind on my blogging. Hopefully, this one, LONG, post will catch me up, just in time for all of our Christmas activities. First off, Jarom and I decided to take the kids to "Harvest Days," in Logan, the week before Halloween. After going, Jarom and I agreed that it wasn't worth the money, but the kids did have some fun.

We rode on a train...

And took the kids through a long, and exhausting corn maze...

And fed the chickens and the horses...

And rode on the horse tire swing...

And that was about it.
The following week, we headed to Idaho Falls to spend Halloween with our families. While we were there, we decided to carve the kids' pumpkins. To be honest, that was a complete disaster! For some reason, Jarom and I thought that we were pumpkin carving experts and attempted to carve some really hard designs. Needless to say, we screwed up a number of times and decided to just carve an easy, typical jack o lantern.

On October 29th, Sadie turned 1. We decided to do a Halloween Birthday as it is so close to the holiday and I thought that it would be fun to have her wear her cute Halloween costume during the party. Before the party though, we took the kids to Trick-or-Treat Street at the Snake River Landing. Here are the kids standing in the never-ending line waiting for it to start.

Dillon was Spiderman.

Braylon was Buzz Lightyear.

After trick-or-treating at the Snake River Landing, we celebrated Sadie's Birthday.

For Halloween, we went over to Jarom's Grandparents' house for dinner. It was fun seeing everybody in their cute costumes.

After having dinner with everybody, we headed over to my mom's ward's Trunk-or-Treat Party. The kids trick-or-treated there and got a lot of candy. They definitely had a fun Halloween. After Halloween, I decided to stay in Idaho Falls for a couple of weeks with my mom. While we were there, the kids wanted to help my mom rake her leaves. Here they are "helping" with the leaves.

Next week is Thanksgiving and we are definitely looking forward to another trip back to Idaho Falls. Christmas is fast-approaching and we are getting excited for all of the fun, family, get-togethers.
