On October 2, Dillon turned 7! It's hard to believe that he will be getting baptized in one year...so crazy! Well, we had to celebrate his birthday on October 1 because on the next day, we were going to be flying out to Disneyland.
Since it was so chaotic getting back from Portland, and then two days later, flying out to Disneyland, I wanted to keep his party relatively simple and easy. So, I took the kids to a fun arcade here in Boise and let them have their own preloaded money card. They had a blast there and Sadie is already planning on going back for her birthday. Dillon wanted a SpongeBob party this year and since I really didn't have the time to make a cute cake, I decided to waste my money and have Walmart make the cake for me.
We got Dillon a Nintendo 3ds XL and a game to go with it this year. He has wanted one for over a year now, so we finally gave in even though he already has a Nintendo DSi. He has played it nonstop, so we definitely think it was worth the money.
Dillon has been such a blessing to our family and we can't imagine our lives without him! Happy Birthday, Dillon!
