In early September, my sister, Mary, started organizing a last minute trip to Disneyland. At first, I was hesitant to spend the money on the trip because we had just gone to Disneyland in 2012, and Jarom would not be able to go as he had work commitments. But, with a little convincing, I decided that we couldn't miss out on the opportunity to spend some fun time with my sister, my niece, Alexis, and my Mom.
So, on October 2nd, we flew out of Salt Lake City to Los Angeles! This was only the second time that the boys and been on a plane and the first time for Sadie. I think they were more excited for the plane ride than they were for Disneyland!
When we got to Los Angeles, we quickly picked up our rental car and headed down to Anaheim. The kids were so exhausted!
When we got to Anaheim, we decided to eat dinner at a familiar Triple D spot....Mamma Cozza's! Once again, the pizza was excellent!
When we arrived at our hotel, Mary and my Mom quickly organized a little surprise party for Dillon since it was his birthday that day. He was definitely surprised and felt SO special!
The next day, we headed off to Disneyland!
The first day at the park was definitely a blast! We rode many rides and were able to see and get autographs from many different characters. We especially loved the Halloween decorations that were displayed throughout the park. By the end of the day, we were all exhausted, but definitely excited for the next day!
