On day 4 of our trip, we anticipated that Disneyland was going to be extremely crowded as it was a Saturday, so we decided to get there right when it opened to try to go on as many rides as we could before the millions of people showed up.
Well, unfortunately, everybody had that same idea. So, needless to say, we were only able to ride a handful of rides, but the kids still had a lot of fun.
We hadn't been able to meet up with Mickey yet at this point, so we decided to wait in the hour line to meet with him at his house. Aside from the Asian family trying to cut in line and Mary almost getting into a fight with them, it was definitely worth the wait visiting with him. The kids especially loved seeing him in his wizard outfit.
After enduring Mickey's hot and claustrophobic house, we decided that the kids needed a break from the enormous crowds, so we headed to Tomorrowland to watch a Star Wars show. The boys love Star Wars, and they were lucky enough to be picked to attend their Jedi training course. They both received light saber training and were able to battle Darth Vader and Darth Maul. It was so cute to watch them in their Jedi capes and receive their Jedi certificates. It was definitely the highlight of the day for me!
After the show, we left Disneyland to travel back to Los Angeles as we had to catch an early flight home the next day.
The next day, we woke up early and flew back into Salt Lake City. The kids were able to make their own light sabers at the park and wanted to get their goodbye photo with my Mom with them.
Even though our trip was quick and crazy at times, it was so worth the many memories we made with my sister and mom. I am so blessed to have such great little travelers and to have a mom that helped me tremendously with them. We had such a BLAST!
