August and September

August and September were really busy months for us, hence the lack of blogging, and I really wanted to take the time to document these activities that we SO enjoyed together.

After almost a year and a half of living in a small townhome, we decided to rent a house so that our kids could run around and not be worried about disturbing our neighbors. The house we found to rent is a newer home with about 2000 square feet. So, it's not that big, but it fits our family well and it is in a decent neighborhood. Well, we moved in around the beginning of August, and we are definitely loving having our own home again.

Shortly after we moved in, Jarom and I went on a trip with Jarom's Dad, Todd, to Atlanta, Georgia to watch the final two days of the PGA Championship. We arrived in Atlanta on Friday night, so we decided to take advantage of some free time and go to the Atlanta Braves game. Here we are outside the gates of Turner Field. The stadium is beautiful!

When we got in the stadium, we found out that it was Bobby Cox Night and that they were going to have a big ceremony in which the Braves were retiring his number. All of the old, famous Braves players were there to help celebrate the occasion.

After the game, we were treated to a surprisingly, awesome firework display. Jarom and I were really impressed.

The next two days we attended the PGA Championship. We were not allowed to take pictures while we were there, so unfortunately, there are no more pictures from our Atlanta Trip. Overall, it was a lot of fun and a great opportunity for Jarom and I to spend some time together and for Jarom to spend some time with his dad. These three were well taken care of by my mom. Thanks again Mom!

In September, Jarom celebrated his 30th Birthday.

We had a little party for him here at home a couple of days before his actual birthday because he was going to be in Baltimore, MD to see the Ravens play the Steelers during his birthday.

While he was in Baltimore, he caught crab off of my Uncle's pier...

and caught fish with my cousin Johnny...

and had a Ravens Birthday Party on his actual birthday...

and had a blast watching the Ravens DESTROY the Steelers! Yea!

In September, we were also finally able to get Sadie's hair in a pigtail. I was so excited! Needless to say, I've been having lots of fun doing her hair and finding little bows to fit her little pigtails.

These three have been having a blast playing in our new house where they actually have their own playroom that is filled with all of their many toys and games. I'm loving not having toys strewn all over the house :)

Lastly, while I was at my Mom's house a couple of weeks ago, my sister wanted to do an early birthday party for Dillon since she was going to miss his actual birthday. We had a Captain America party with a Captain America cake. This was the first time that we had tried fondant. Even though the cake looks really amateurish, I thought we did a good job for our first time.

The kids and I are getting really excited for the upcoming months and holidays. We have already started some holiday baking and activities and are definitely looking forward to more. I love this time of year!
