Thanksgiving

We started the month of November recovering from the many activities we participated in for Halloween. We literally were homebodies for the first two weeks of the month and hung out and relaxed with each other. Although I prefer to stay busy, I have come to appreciate those times when we don't have anything scheduled and we can just hang out as a family.

After laying around for a couple of weeks, I decided to head into Idaho Falls for the Bonneville Craft Fair. Now, the craft fair is another one of those events that I always look forward to and feel that I can't miss, but then while I'm there, I absolutely hate it. Well, this year, I decided to take Sadie with me so that we could get some girl shopping/bonding time. Here she is, excited to go to her first of many craft fairs.

The craft fair was as busy as ever, and yes, I did hate it again this year. But, for some reason, I know I'll go again next year.

A few days after the craft fair, Jarom joined me in Idaho Falls to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. Here is the fam the morning of Thanksgiving.

We went over to Jarom's Dad's house for an early breakfast. Here are the kids at Grandpa Johnson's house.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and had a great time with the family. It is always important to take the time to reflect on all of the many blessings that we have in our lives. We are truly grateful!

A couple of days after Thanksgiving, the kids wrote their letters to Santa. It has become a tradition in our family to mail our letters to Santa via the big Santa mailbox in front of the Idaho Falls Museum. Here are the kids with their letters.

We are all getting excited for Christmas and the many family get-togethers that we will be attending. We are so fortunate to be able to live close to family so that we are able to spend this special time of year with the ones that we love.
